Llanelli Rippleforms

As part of the re-development of the primary gateway hide lagoons this installation was developed with the site engineer and ecologist to diversify habitats and increase its value for plants, fish and animals alike. The use of ripple forms derived from the adjacent estuary was used to greatly increase the percentage of water-edge as well as creating a series of radiating lines leading the eye away to the mid-horizon of the Nature Reserve. Landscape formed using a large 3m wide ditching V-bucket on a 20 tonne tracked excavator.
