Cross Border Cooperation
Working with Arcadis EuroConsult to the EC supported Environmental Programme for the Lower Danube EuroRegion Programme for cross border cooperation between Ukraine, Moldova and Rumania we helped facilitate the policy and work planning capacity of the EuroRegion Commissions, Coordinating Centres and Council. Together with local players we evaluated the interest in and options for a Regional Agency for Sustainable Development associated with Free Economic Zones, as well as the options for legal and management arrangements for the development of the Kugurlui wetland polder restoration site. We also designed website arrangements for an interactive forum for wetland managers.
