'Sultan' The Pit Pony
Design, public consultation and supervision of landform sculpture / recreational landscape at Parc Penallta. - 200m x 40m x7m coal shale and subsoil sculpture representing the final release of the pit ponies onto the mountain following the closure of Penallta Colliery. This sculpture has since been named ‘Sultan’ by local residents in memory of Penallta Colliery’s prize winning pony. In collaboration with Groundwork Caerffili.
